Summary Drug Policy Boar had decided to multiply registration of drugs and license fee by three times.
The first meeting of the board were held in Islamabad where federal secretary Fardiullah Khan was in the chaire. The meeting also approved to allocate Rs 40 million annually for establishment of Drug Regulatory Agency.The policy board also constituted a four-member committee for recovery from Pharmaceutical industry.Federal Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan also directed for special measures to check quality of drugs.
