Summary People protested against loadshedding on Sunday in several cities of the country.
The citizens in Faisalabad turned to streets and started violent demonstrations against energy crisis. The protesters burnt tyres and pelted stones on vehicles. Meanwhile, the factory workers in Ghulam Muhammad Abad also protested against power outage. They threatened to siege FESCO offices if the schedule of loadshedding is not announced.Moreover, citizens of Peshawar came out on roads with batons and staged protest against loadshedding. The protesters blocked the road near Saifan Chowk and surrounded Sheikh Muhammadi Grid Station.The protesters said that unannounced loadshedding up to 20 hours has wreaked havoc with their lives.
