Summary Petroleum Minister says the ECC of the Cabinet has approved the establishment of LNG terminals.
The Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has approved the establishment of LNG terminals.In an interview‚ Dr Asim Hussain said construction of these terminals will start shortly.The Minister said progress has been made on aquisition of sustainable energy.He said that an agreement has been signed with Turkmenistan on TAPI gas pipeline and there is also progress on Iran gas pipeline.He said that gas supply from these two pipelines‚ which had remained stalled for decades‚ will start soon.
