US Special Representative on Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Holbrooke says that Baitullah Mehsud has died or he would have emerged on the scene by now. US Representative is on a special visit to Pakistan. He called on Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Finance Minister Shaukat Tareen and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad. He said that Washington would not pressurize Islamabad to start operation in Waziristan. He also said that US would soon help Pakistan in logistic support, adding that Pakistan would be helped in overcoming the power shortage crisis. Pakistani official had taken up the issue of access to the US markets to end the financial crisis in meetings with Holbrooke.
