Twenty first death anniversary of former President General Zia ul Haq is being observed today. A special prayer will be offered on his grave at 3:51 pm today; where as Dunya News will broadcast an exclusive documentary at 7:30 pm regarding the former President. General Zia ul Haq died on 17th August 1988 at 3:51 pm when his military aircraft C-130 crashed near Bahawalpur. Thirteen military subordinates along with a US ambassador who were on board with him were also killed in this plane crash. He was buried on the eve of 19th August, in the premises of Faisal Mosque Islamabad. The eleven year military rule ended after his death.
