LHC asks for fee details given to US lawyers in Afia Siddiqui case

Lahore High Court has asked the government to submit details of the fees given to the US lawyers in Dr Afia Siddiqui case on August 17. A petitioner in the LHC said that Rs 170 million paid to the lawyers in Afia Siddiqui case were likely to be misused. Petitioner maintained that the issue was pending and the hefty amount could go wasted. LHC Judge Justice Ijaz Chaudhary has postponed the hearing of the case till August 17.
