Summary Aitzaz Ahsan has expressed confidence that the SC will acquit PM.
Talking to the media‚ Prime Minister Yousaf Raza’s counsel Aitzaz Ahsan expressed the confidence that the bench while accepting his arguments will acquit the PM. He said the prime minister will appear before the bench on Thursday as per the court orders. He said that if the PM convicted‚ an appeal would be filed against the judgment. Aitzaz Ahsan maintained that as long as Asif Ali Zardari is the president‚ letter cannot be written to the Swiss authorities.
