Summary Runway of Karachi had been closed after tryes of a plane burst during landing on Sunday.

According to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesperson, runway Quaid-e-Azam International Airport Karachi has been reopened after eight hours.Earlier, the airport had been closed as the tryres of a private airline passenger plane burst during the landing which caused delay toseveral international and domestic flights have been delayed.A private airline flight coming from Dubai had been diverted to Indian city Ahmadabad and PIA and Air Blue flights from Lahore to Karachi were directed to land at Nawabshah airport while two flight of Bhoja Air landed at Multan airport.Meanwhile, PIA flights including PK-787 from Lahore to London and PK-729 from Lahore to Riaz have also been delayed.PIA’s flight PK-304 from Karachi to Lahore is also delayed while passenger plane PK-791 could not leave according to the schedule and its departure is expected at 9pm with a delay of 9 hours.PK-203 from Lahore to Dubai will leave after a 4-hours delay due to technical fault.Moreover, international and domestic flights from Karachi have been delayed from 3 to 7 hours. These flights include international flights from Karachi to London, Dubai, Riaz and Jeddah and domestic flights from Karachi to Islamabad, Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan.
