Police make yet another attempt to close Sapna Khans abduction case.

In a recent ploy, police claimed that the body recovered from Gojar Khan was of Sapna and called her family for further identification.Sapna’s bother and her family at once rejected police claim and confirmed that it was not Sapna’s photograph. The police still insisted the family to visit Gojar Khan and verify the body.Expressing resentment over police attitude, Sapna’s brother asked them to leave the rest and initiate an inquiry against main accused Dost Muhammad Khosa.In the past, Police had been upsetting the family of Sapna by not arresting the main accused in the case.Earlier,Session court summoned investigation officer of race course police station over not arresting Dost Khosa despite abduction case being filed against him.Dost Khosa married Sapna Khan on June 02, 2010 and divorced her on June 19, 2011 stating personal reasons.However, she was abducted on June 22, 2011.On the request of the petitioner, session court ordered to file a FIR against Dost Khosa on December 7, 2011.On March 16, 2012, High Court issued directives to file a case against Dost Khosa when the session court s order was not implemented.Following the High Court s order, a case against Dost Khosa was being filed on March 30 but he was still not arrested. Therefore, the session court has now summoned the investigation officer in the case.
