Mehsud alive, claims Taliban leader Hakeemullah

A leader of the Banned Tehreek-e-Taliban has claimed that Baitullah Mehsud is alive after 24 hours of his death confirmation by the officials concerned. Several close aides of Baitullah have also confirmed his death. Baitullah was killed in a guided missile attack on August 05 and the news of his death was broadcast on international and national media. A Taliban leader Hakeemullah now claims that Baitullah is alive. On the other hand, a meeting to choose the new leader of Taliban is still in progress. According to the foreign news agencies Pakistan intelligence agencies had also cooperated with the US in the drone attack.
