PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The death toll from dengue in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has risen to three, as the virus continues to spread across the province, the Health Department reported on Thursday.
According to the latest update, 36 new dengue cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, pushing the number of active cases to 399. The report shows that a total of 5,861 people have been affected by dengue so far this year in KP.
Health officials said that 22 patients were admitted to hospitals during the past 24 hours as the virus continues to take hold in various districts.
Authorities urged residents to stay alert, take precautions, and keep their surroundings clean to stop the disease from gaining further ground.
