Dengue virus infects 41 more in Rawalpindi
The number of cases has risen to 1,695 and 80 people have been admitted to various hospitals
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The health authorities have confirmed that 41 more people have been infected by dengue virus in the past 24 hours in Rawalpindi.
According to the latest figures released by the district administration, the number of cases has risen to 1,695. Of them, 80 people have been admitted to various hospitals of Rawalpindi. Three patients are in serious condition.
Meanwhile, 14 cases have been registered for violation of dengue SOPs, three buildings have been sealed and violators were fined Rs10,000, added a district administration statement.
It said 3,828 cases have so far been registered for violation of SOPs, 593 buildings have been sealed, 1,085 fine tickets have been issued and Rs6,675,500 fine has been imposed.
