Cure your Acne from your kitchen

(Web Desk) - Acne appears on your face can affect your self esteem and may cause permanent physical scarring. Effected person should never be ashamed about their acne because there are many effective treatments and homemade remedies with natural product are useful in reducing the chance of acne. Most effective remedies if applied properly on face can get rid of acne and make skin fresh and glowing.

Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles and sebaceous gland become clogged due to the excessive production of sebum. It causes white head, blackheads or pimples and usually appears on the face, forehead, chest, upper back shoulder. Oily skin persons are badly affected by acne.

Suitable diet for people suffering from acne includes;

Omega 3 Fatty acids (pumpk `in seed, sunflower seed, egg, fish), Vitamin A (yellow & orange colored fruits and vegetables), Vitamin E (spinach, broccoli, almonds, peanuts), Vitamin C (citrus fruits), Vitamin D (sunlight, egg yolk), Antioxidant (green tea, yogurt, berries, honey), Zinc (pulses, legumes, pumpkin, mushrooms), Probiotics (Yogurt). Avoid using refined foods (white bread, burgers or pizza), refined sugars, unprocessed whole grain, fruits and vegetables or instant/packed foods, diary items especially cow milk or skim milk, they can trigger the acne.

Here are some easy, inexpensive or effective dietary remedies to cure your acne at home;

1- Apple Cider Vinegar:

This vinegar has ability to kill acne causing bacteria and reduce appearance of scars. Mix 1 part apple cider vinegar and 3 parts water (use more water for sensitive skin). After cleaning gently apply the mixture to the skin using a cotton ball. Let sit for 5-10 sec, rinse with water and pat dry. Repeat this process 1-2 times per day.

2- Honey & Cinnamon Mask:

Applying both honey and cinnamon are more effective treatment to reduce acne. They also have the ability to fight bacteria and reduce inflammation. Mix 2 tbsp honey and 1 tsp cinnamon together to form a paste apply on your face and leave it for 10-15 min.

3- Tea Tree Oil:

This oil has ability to fight bacteria and reduce skin inflammation. This oil is very potent so always dilute it before applying it to your skin. Mix 1 part tea tree oil with 12 parts of rose hip seed oil and apply it with cotton on your skin. Repeat this process 1-2 times per day.

4- Green Tea:

Green tea contains polyphenols that are associated with reduced inflammation and lowered sebum production so this mask is very effective against acne. Apply the paste of green tea on face by taking 2 spoons of green tea and little water, blend it and apply thoroughly on face and leave it for 15min then wash with water properly.

5- Banana Mask:

Mash 2 bananas in half cup yogurt and add 1 spoon honey mix it well and apply on face, repeat this process 1-2 times per day. It is good for blood flow & reduce production of oil.

6- Yeast with Yogurt:

Yogurt has anti aging property and also contains vitamin D and zinc which is good to remove acne. Combine 1 tsp of yeast with a little plain yogurt to create a thin mixer and apply it thoroughly to all oily areas and leave it for 15 min rinse with warm water and use cold water to close the pores.

7- Grapes Facial:

Grab a few fresh grapes from your fridge and cut two or three grapes in half, rub the flesh on your face and leave it for 20 min then rinse and get rid of acne because grapes have a lot amount of vitamin C which is good for affected skin.

8- Cucumber:

Make a paste of one small cucumber by blending and add 1 cup of oatmeal, again blend the mixture add one tsp of yogurt and applying it to your face and leave it for 30 min. Cucumber have cooling effect and yogurt have anti aging property, both are good for skin health.

9- Fish Oil Supplement:

Fish oil contains good fats, taking a fish oil supplement may help decrease acne. Eating fishes especially salmon and sardines or walnuts give you that oil in rich amount.

10- Aloe Vera Gel:

Aloe Vera helpful in wound healing, treat burns and fights inflammation. This gel is often added to lotions, creams, ointments and soaps. Aloe Vera gel is beneficial for individual with acne prone skin. Scrape the gel from the aloe plant out with spoon and apply it directly to clean skin as a moisturizer. Repeat 1-2 times per day or as desired.
