COVID-19 vaccine to take two years to develop: Dr Mehmood
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Prof. Dr. Mehmood Shaukat, while warning about the effects of novel coronavirus, has said that the virus damages the brain along with the lungs and patients suffering from the disease also face mental health issues.
Prof. Dr. Mahmood Shaukat, while talking to ‘Jago Lahore’ program of Lahore News, said that Pakistan is not developing any vaccine and we totally rely on World Health Organization (WHO). He added that vaccine of the virus will not be available until two years.
Talking about the rising number of polio cases, Dr. Mehmood said that we have failed to control many diseases including polio but on the other hand India eradicated the disease in just one year.
