(Web Desk) - A video circulating widely on social media, allegedly showing a boy jumping into a lion’s enclosure at Lahore Zoo, has been declared fake and edited, according to zoo authorities.
The footage had prompted concern among social media users, but the Lahore Zoo administration clarified that the boundary visible in the video does not resemble the actual structure of the zoo’s lion enclosure.
Lahore Zoo Director Ghulam Rasool said the lion enclosure was protected by a high boundary wall topped with safety grills. He said crossing the barrier and entering the enclosure in the manner shown in the viral video was not possible.
