Social media posts associating luxury SUV with Maulana Tariq Jamil termed false
LAHORE (Web Desk) - A picture of a luxury Lexus LX570 SUV has been going viral on social media for the past few days.
The picture is being circulated with the claim that the SUV, which typically costs over Rs 50 million, belongs to famous religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel. This picture has now been termed fake.
In a statement released on the social networking site Twitter, Maulana Tariq Jameel has said that the picture spreading on social media is being attributed to him when in fact he has nothing to do with it and the claim is completely baseless.

In his message, he further wrote, "May Allah guide us all to the truth and save us from spreading lies."
However, after a few hours, the tweet made from the official Twitter account of Maulana Tariq Jamil was deleted.
