LAHORE (Web Desk) - Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and special assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan Nadeem Afzal Chan has rumored on social media that he will leave PTI soon. Special Assistant for Political Media Dr. Shahbaz Gill has declared it a fake news.
According to the details, the special assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan had gone on leave till July 11 a few days ago, after which news started circulating on social media that he would leave the PTI soon.
The viral news said that Nadeem Afzal Chan would leave the PTI and join Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), as he has resigned from the post of special assistant.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership has not yet accepted the resignation of senior leader Nadeem Afzal Chan.
Reacting to the news, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan for Political Media Dr Shahbaz Gill has said in a statement on social networking site Twitter that the news was fake.
The Special Assistant for Political Media on Twitter said that the statement released on Twitter was being released after talking to Nadeem Afzal Chan.
