Australian government responds to reports Australian aid worker killed in Gaza

As we reported earlier, an Australian aid worker is reportedly among five humanitarians killed in an attack in Deir el-Balah.

DFAT also said: “We have been clear on the need for civilian lives to be protected in this conflict” and “we expect humanitarian workers in Gaza to have safe and unimpeded access to do their lifesaving work”.
