(Web Desk) — Eighteen years after his last record, singer Atif Aslam celebrated his new album Subah Aye Na with a star-studded gathering featuring Fahad Mustafa, Asim Azhar, Talha Anjum and Hania Aamir.

The event attracted attention because the celebrities come from different parts of Pakistan’s entertainment industry.

Mustafa, Azhar and Anjum were seen with Aslam during the night, with videos showing them singing together on stage.

Subah Aye Na is Aslam’s fourth studio album and was released on July 31. It is his first full-length project since 2008’s Meri Kahani.

The eight-track album marks his return to making a complete album after years of working on films, Coke Studio and touring.

Aslam has said the album came from his desire to move away from commercially driven projects and return to writing and composing music for himself.

His earlier work includes Doorie and his 2004 debut album Jal Pari, which introduced him to a wider audience through songs such as Aadat and Woh Lamhe.

The celebration showed that Subah Aye Na has brought fresh attention to Aslam’s music and marked an important return for the singer.
