LAHORE (Web Desk) – Following the release of popular YouTuber Saadur Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, his wife, Aroob Jatoi, has broken her silence, sharing her first statement since his bail.
Posting on Instagram Stories, Aroob Jatoi clarified that Ducky Bhai is currently taking a break from social media. She emphasised that he has not created any new content or posed for photographs since his release.
“Please do not believe rumours or false information,” she urged, seeking to prevent any public misunderstanding. Aroob Jatoi added that Ducky Bhai would return soon and resume his journey with even greater strength.
Ducky Bhai was recently released from jail after spending three months behind bars in connection with allegations of promoting illegal gambling applications.
On Friday, a significant hearing took place at the Lahore District Courts concerning the ongoing gambling apps case. Ducky Bhai, alongside Aroob Jatoi, appeared before Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo.
During the hearing, the court rejected an acquittal plea filed by co-accused Subhan, stating that the request could not be entertained at this stage. The case was adjourned until 17 December for framing of charges, summoning all accused, including Ducky Bhai.
Addressing the court, Ducky Bhai stated that Subhan had joined his team only three months prior to his arrest and was employed on a monthly salary of one lakh rupees. He insisted that Subhan had no involvement in the alleged offence.
The court also sought clarification regarding Aroob Jatoi’s legal position. The defence confirmed she had already obtained pre-arrest bail.
Ducky Bhai’s lawyer revealed that a petition has been filed for the return of confiscated items, including electronic devices, mobile phones held by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), four credit cards, and certain cash amounts.
Ducky Bhai’s release came just two days ago. The NCCIA continues its investigation into all accused in the case.
