Lahore: Radio show held for IDPs of Swat

A radio show was held through a well known channel in order to collect relief for the IDPs of Swat. The show that was held by the name Peace not Peaces was presented by a series of artists who reflected upon the life of these people and thus in the process the show was appreciated by numerous listeners. The basic outline of the drama revolved around a mentally ill character who even with his shortcomings would try to engage in a proper conversation. This role of this character was played by Shahnawaz Rana who according to listeners did an amazing job. It was for the first time ever on radio that a stage show on this scale was held. The radio artists who took part in this show included Arooj Chaudry, Shoiab Ahmed, Asad, Bilawal, Mehru, Madiha Alam, Wisaal, and Afzal Sahid.
