In a viral clip from Sunday night's ceremony, the Only Murders in the Building actress is seen approaching the "Blank Space" singer and whispering in her ear.

Swift, who was among the best dressed for the occasion, is clearly shocked by whatever Gomez told her and appears to mouth, "She what?" Gomez explains more to a visibly appalled Swift, leaving fans desperately trying to read their lips.

Another angle shows Swift's friend Keleigh Sperry gasping in shock at whatever gossip Gomez delivered.

Coming to their own conclusions, many speculated that they were discussing Kylie Jenner, alleging she blocked Gomez from snapping a photo with her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, who starred in the 2019 rom-com A Rainy Day in New York opposite Gomez.
