Shazia Manzoor honoured with Queen Elizabeth award
OTTAWA (Web Desk) - Pakistan's famous singer Shazia Manzoor known for her melodious voice that does not let her fans to miss her songs was honored with the Queen Elizabeth Award in Canada.
Pakistani-born Canadian Member of Parliament Shafqat Ali presented Shazia Manzoor with the Queen Elizabeth Award from the Government of Canada at a ceremony.
Mr Ali took to X and said “It was such an honour to host Shazia Manzoor and to have her sing in our office today, and to award her with Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pin”

Talking about this, the singer said, “I thank the government of Canada for this honour and award is a matter of great achievement for me.”
The 'Chan Mera Makhna' singer added that it is also a matter of pride that members of Pakistani origin are also representing Canada in the Canadian Parliament.
The renowned singer further said that Pakistanis are making their country proud by working hard in every corner of the world.
