Ranveer Singh describes response of Deepika Padukone's mother to their romance
(Web Desk) - After five years of blissful marriage to Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh has now revealed his mother-in-law's response to learning about their relationship.
Padukone, reacted to the news while promoting his latest movie, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
The Sooryavanshi actor said that his mother-in-law was unable to comprehend their union.
“Unke palle nahi pada (the relationship) khas kar ke meri mother-in-law”, he added.
After spending some time with him, Padukone's mother recognised Singh's innocence.
Actor Ranveer Singh, 38, stated: "With time, when you spend time and understand each other, she realised no matter how he (Ranveer Singh) is, his heart is pure and he is a good guy."
The Simmba star said that she now considers him to be one of her favourite persons.
“Now she is one of my favourite people, and I am most certainly one of her favourite people.”
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone fell in love with each other after working together on Sanjay Leela Bhasali’s Ram Leela in 2012. The duo dated each other for six years and then finally tied the knot in Italy in November 2018.
