Bollywood’s copy of iconic Pasoori song gets thumbs down

(Web Desk) - The popular song 'Pasoori' by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill has been adapted for a Bollywood film, which has enraged Twitter users for all the right reasons.

The song was remade and released for the upcoming Bollywood film Satyaprem Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani.

The film is scheduled to be released on June 28, but the trailer was released three weeks ago and the song on Monday, which clearly enraged Pakistanis.

'Pasoori Nu' was sung by Arijit Singh, and it is believed that it was made in the aim of capitalising on 'Pasoori's' reputation despite Bollywood's attempts to rejuvenate the song by changing its words.

When the song was simply a rumour, actor Adnan Siddiqui wrote about it - regrettably, all of the rumours were accurate.

Twitter users expressed their dissatisfaction with Bollywood's failure to create fresh tunes.
