LAHORE (Web Desk) - Actress Daniya Anwar, known for her role in the hit drama serial "Habs", has opened up about the physical and mental abuse she endured during her six-year marriage, despite marrying for love.

During a recent interview, Anwar shared that she got married to a man five years older than her at the age of 19. While she faced some initial problems in her marriage, she struggled to understand them due to her young age and ultimately endured six years of violence and exploitation.

Despite her efforts to save the marriage, Anwar was forced to file for divorce. However, the aftermath was not easy, as people close to her began labeling her as a "bad woman."

The actress revealed that she sought the help of psychiatrists to overcome the trauma and forget her abusive past.

Anwar began her acting career in 2015, starring in dramas such as "Heer", "Kahan Tum Chale Gaye", "Dhani", "Fitoor", "Faltu Larki", "Rasm e Dunya", "Khalish", "Bechari Nadia", "Mera Maan Rakhna", "Badnaseeb", "Adhuri Kahani", and "Habs".
