LAHORE (Web Desk) - Pakistani drama industry writer and novelist Saima Akram Chaudhry has said she will not write a Ramazan drama for at least two years as she is tired of working.
Saima Akram Chowdhury recently participated in a podcast where she expressed her dismay about Ramazan dramas, saying she believes in sharing the desired message in a light-hearted way, but today's Ramazan dramas have become nothing but comedy what she does not like.
She further said nowadays dramas are exaggerating everything which rightly annoys people and fans will not like it anymore. Even making four dramas every season is not good for people.
She also said writers should be consulted during casting as they envision an actor or actress in the script while writing it and sometimes the casting is quite the opposite.
She also advised the producers to make only one drama and spend the entire budget on it instead of four pointless projects.
