Actress has been facing criticism after she had accused Bollywood actor of violence
(Web Desk) - Pakistani-American and Indian actress Somi Ali has said that she wants Bollywood superstar Salman Khan to apologize to her publicly.
Sharing a short video on Instagram, he said that some people are taunting him that he accused Salman Khan of violence to gain fame and attention.
She said that people also taunted him that why he remained silent for 20 years on Salman Khan s inappropriate behavior.
She said that there are many reasons to speak against Salman Khan now, the most important of which is that the Bollywood actor stopped her documentary Fight Are Fight from airing on India s TV channel Discovery One Plus .
According to Somi Ali, her documentary tells the stories of transgender people, transgenders, women and men who have been sexually harassed and raped in India and Salman Khan stopped the documentary from being broadcast in India.
She alleged that Salman Khan kept harassing and humiliating her for eight years, making her feel in front of everyone, including loneliness, that she was too fallen and small.
Somi Ali is one of the popular Bollywood heroines of the 1990s, she has done films with popular heroes of that era including Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty and Mithun Chakraborty.
Somi Ali, who worked in about a dozen Bollywood films, moved to India from the UNITED States to work in films at the age of 16 before 1990.
