LAHORE (Dunya News) – In a trip to the United States, actress Meera has got herself in trouble once again. It is being reported that she has been termed mentally unwell after she insulted an American doctor and asked for preferential treatment.
According to details, the actress had a fever after receiving her coronavirus shot. Reportedly, she went for a check-up and kept boasting about her fame to the doctor and asked for preferential treatment.
Sources say that Meera told the doctor that she was offered a seat in the Senate by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and that she is given protocol by the Prime Minister himself.
Dumbfounded by the conversation, the doctor informed mental health officials about the situation and told Meera that she may be a showbiz star but he deals with patients according to the rules.
Later on, the actress admitted her mistake after analyzing the gravity of the situation.
Sources said that only Meera’s father-in-law and husband Captain Naveed can bring her back by giving their surety. The actress has been in the medical center for two days.
Talking to Dunya News, the mother of the actress said that her daughter should be brought back to Pakistan.
