KARACHI (Web Desk) – Seasoned actor Noman Ijaz says that no man or woman has the right to harass anyone and if anyone does so, they should be punished.
Noman Ijaz said the accusers do not consider how the accusation would affect the man and his family. He denied the impression that his TV serial ‘Dunk’ was an attempt to sabotage the ‘Me Too’ movement as he himself believes that no man or woman has the right to harass anyone.
The actor clarified that the point behind the serial is to check if someone is misusing the movement. That is why it is better to investigate and verify the accusation before punishing someone.
He said that in our society, it has happened many times that a movement has been used for wrong purpose, so the government must decide that false accusations must also be punishable.
