Veena Malik files defamation suit against ex-husband Asad Khattak
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistani actress Veena Malik has filed a defamation suit of Rs1 billion against ex-husband Asad Khattak.
According to details, the actress has claimed that her former husband is leveling fake allegations against her on social media. She told that the court had given custody of their children to her.
Earlier, Asad Khattak had appealed to Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Prime Minister Imran Khan for help in retrieving his children from his ex-wife Veena’s custody.
Asad Khattak, while addressing a press conference, said that Veena abducted his children from Dubai after he was given custody by a UAE court following their divorce in 2018.
Asad Khattak said that Veena had threatened him and his family. “If anything happens to me or my family, Veena Malik will be responsible”, he said.
