Celebrities wish Pakistan a 'Happy Independence Day'

LAHORE (Dunya News) – As the nation is celebrating the country s 74th Independence Day on Friday with great enthusiasm, the showbiz personalities congratulated Pakistanis on the occasion of Independence Day.

While celebrations have been restricted due to the coronavirus epidemic, strict precautions are being taken at events.

While the President, Prime Minister, Army Chief and other top government officials congratulated the people on the occasion of the 74th Independence Day of the country, showbiz personalities like political and social personalities also congratulated their fans on the birth anniversary of the country.

Every actor wore a Green and White dress with a Pakistani flag in their hands and a wide smile on their faces.

Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi wished the country well on the occasion. "Happy Birthday dear Pakistan. May Allah give us all taufeeq (opportunity) to make him the center of our existence and understand his message with all our honesty. May Allah bless Pakistan," tweeted Abbasi.

Actor Shan Shahid wrote on twitter, Happy Birthday #Pakistan My love , my passion & my patriotism is what I bring for you as gifts. I pray that we unite in the love of the #green&white. And remember this day everyday of our lives. I take an oath to protect you and love you always.

Actress Veena Malik also wished all the citizens a happy Independence Day.

Actor Ijaz Aslam also congratulated the fans and people on the occasion of Independence Day and prayed for the security of the homeland.

Actress Nadia Jamil expressed her love for the country. “Azaadi Mubarak Pakistan & all Pakistanis! First day of radiation over. Alhamdolillah. Feeling drained,tired,blessed. Life is not meant 2be easy,but peace,love & generosity make it so much easier & keeps one focused on our blessings! Throw out light & it will shine back at you!,” she said.

Leading actor Adnan Siddiqui also shared a video on Twitter while sending an emotional message on the occasion of the 74th Independence Day. “As we celebrate our 74th I’ Day, I cannot but feel an overwhelming sense of pride towards our country. History is replete with heroic struggles of our ancestors who martyred themselves selflessly so that us, the future generations, could enjoy the fruits of an independent nation,” he wrote.

Actress Samina Peerzada and Fahad Mustafa also wished all the citizens a happy Independence Day.

Turkish actor Engin Altan Düzyatan who plays the lead role in the series Dirilis: Ertugrul visited the Pakistan Consulate Istanbul to convey greetings to Pakistan on its Independence Day through Council General Bilal Khan Pasha. In a video message, he wished Pakistanis in Urdu. " Tamam Pakistan ko Jashn e Azadi Mubarik, ( To all Pakistan, Happy Independence Day)," he said.
