Mehwish Hayat appeals authorities to address Karachi rain woes
Mehwish Hayat said the world's 7th largest city grinds to a halt after rain.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Prominent actor Mehwish Hayat appealed the authorities to address Karachi rain woes while stressing that Karachiites deserve better facilities.
The actor took to Twitter and said the world’s 7th largest city grinds to a halt when we get some rain. Roads flood, cars drown, people get electrocuted and power outages are conducted, she said.
Mehwish Hayat said please get your act together and resolve this issue while addressing the Sindh government, Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and Cantt Board.
We generate the most revenue in the country, we deserve better, she concluded.
