Salman Khan, Karan Johar among eight nominated in Sushant Singh murder petition

MUMBAI (Dunya News) - A lawyer has filed a petition in a local court in the Indian state of Bihar against eight people, including actor Salman Khan and Producer Karan Johar, declaring the suicide of the late Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput a murder.

According to media reports, the court allowed the petition for hearing and fixed July 3 for the next hearing. In the case filed in the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s Court, Advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha alleged that eight persons Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Sajid Nadiadwala, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Ekta Kapoor and Director Dinesh were not allowing the films of actor Sushant Singh to be released and in doing so, he was forced to commit suicide. According to the lawyer, this is tantamount to murder.

It is to be noted that Sushant Singh hung himself in his house on June 14, however, no suicide note was found at the scene.
