Pakistan Fashion Week postponed due to Coronavirus outbreak
LAHORE (Web Desk) - Fashion Pakistan Council (FPC) has announced that Fashion Pakistan Week 2020 has been postponed due to the novel Coronavirus outbreak.
The Fashion Pakistan Week is a three-day event that was scheduled to take place from April 9 to April 11 in Karachi. The annual event has been delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak around the globe.
FPC Chairperson Maheen Khan announced that, “At this time of a global pandemic, we will assess the situation later during the year, with regards to the rescheduling of Fashion Pakistan Week 2020.”
“We’ve informed our designers and sponsors who agree with our decision and together we’ll reassess later in the year,” she added.
The event is organised by the Fashion Pakistan Council (FPC), an organisation based in Karachi and it hosts the events of Fashion Pakistan Week Spring/Summer and Fashion Pakistan Week Winter Festive.
