LAHORE (Web Desk) - Actress Mahira Khan has expressed utter distress and shock over the language used by writer Khalilur Rehman Qamar in the latest controversial encounter with Marvi Sarmad during a live TV show.
“I am shocked at what I have just heard and seen!! Sick to the core,” the actress said in a Tweet adding that “this same man who abused a woman on TV is revered and given project after project because of what? We are as much to blame if not more for perpetuating this thinking.”

Replying to the actress’s post, a twitter user shared some of the screenshots of Marvi Sarmad’s past tweets in which she has bluntly used the abusive language.
Mahira Khan replying to the post said, “If these tweets are real, I do not stand by the way she (Marvi Sarmad) speaks at all.”
“Being respectful is not gender specific. But till when will we do tit for tat? Nobody wins like that. We’re all losers in the end,” she added.
