Salman fined for smoking in public

The Patiala health department slapped a fine of Rs 200 on actor Salman Khan for smoking in public on World No-Tobacco Day.Salman, who was in Patiala for the shooting of his next movie, Bodyguard, was seen lighting up on the movie set in Hotel Neemrana. Khan was also warned not to do so the next time he is in the city.Salman reached Patiala on May 27 and Kareena Kapoor a day before that. The star was seen lighting a cigarette on the lawns of the hotel — shown as the home of Kareena in the film.After we got to know about this, we imposed a fine of Rs 200 each on the actor and the hotel owner, said Patiala deputy medical commissioner Dr Charnjit Singh.
