Shah Rukh Khan opens up on religious choices in his house

(Web Desk) – Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan has recently expressed his views on religious take saying that there is no religion in their house, Mannat, as they all are Indians.

King Khan said: “There is no such thing as Muslim-Hindu between us as we have never discussed religion at home. I am a Muslim and my wife is Hindu and our children are Indian.” He added that no religion is imposed in their home and his family celebrates all festivals.

SRK recalled a moment where his daughter Suhana once came to him in her school days asking him about their religion. “When they (my children) went to school, they had to write their religion. My daughter came to me once and asked ‘what is our religion?’ I simply wrote in her form that we are Indian, we do not have a religion.”, he expressed.

He further said that he is not completely Islamic in terms of religious practices but he believes in the tenets of Islam and he believes that Islam a good religion and a good discipline.

While talking about national integrity, he expressed, “In our country, we speak of Hindu, Muslim, Sikhs and Christians. But the best part is our young generation not just speaks of it, but also believes in the fact that nothing can take away this harmony from us, till the time we have people like all of you, and myself, as I consider myself also young.’

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Zero with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
