Actors from final episode of Skywalker Saga train like astronauts at NASA space center

(Reuters) – Actors Kelly Marie Tran and Namoi Ackie are used to inhabiting galaxies far, far away. Recently, they spent the day pretending to live in space.
The duo, who both appear in the movie ‘Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’, spent the day at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, training like real-life astronauts preparing for missions to the space station, Moon and Mars.
Tran and Ackie experienced simulated zero gravity and microgravity in the agency’s Active Response Gravity Offload system.
They also taste tested astronaut food at the Space Food Laboratory, tried on space suits and climbed inside a mockup of NASA’s Orion spacecraft.
