LAHORE (Web Desk) – The renowned singer, Zayn Malik, has joined hands with the Nobel Prize Laureate, Malala Yousafzai, to promote education for girls in Pakistan.

The former member of English-Irish pop band, One Direction, took to Instagram and broke the news about working for the education with young activist in Pakistan.

Zayn Malik’s post reads: Her community thinks educating girls brings nothing more than shame. Afsana wants #NothingMore than to go to school. Donate to Malala fund and help every girl learn and lead.”

“Girls want #NothingMore than education, opportunity and equality,” the video further added.

Zayn put up a caption with the post stating: “Click the link in bio to see how you can help and learn about the Malala Fund.”

Malala retweeted his post, wittingly throwing in a bit of a reference to his former pop-band. “You’re headed
in the right Direction,” she tweeted.

Malala Fund put out a call on Twitter expressing: “Around our world, girls are too often seen as nothing more than someone’s daughter or wife. But girls want #NothingMore than to learn. This giving season, help girls reach their full potential by investing in their education.”
