Pakistani celebs meet royal couple in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistani prominent personalities on Tuesday had met Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, during an elaborate reception hosted by British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew at Pakistan Monument in Islamabad.

Wearing traditional Pakistani dresses, the couple entered the venue in rickshaw that was painted to highlight the friendly relations between both countries.

Celebrities including Mahira Khan, Mehwish Hayat, Wasim Akram, Atif Aslam, Momina Mustehsan and Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) were present there to welcome the royal couple.

On the occasion, Prince William delivered a speech at the event expressing his gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by Pakistan during their visit.
