Shamoon Abbasi to play key role in comedy film 'Abhinandan Come On'?

The news regarding Shamoon Abbasi's role in the comedy movie is circulating on social media.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Rumors have been circulating that veteran writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is about to pen down and direct a comedy movie on the apprehension of IAF pilot Abhinandan, titled as “Abhinandan Come On” starring Shamoom Abbasi.

According to OyeYeah, after India announced that a serious film named ‘Balakot’ is under work to show the life of IAF pilot Abhinandan and portray him as a war hero, Pakistani writer also announced to release a film on him but a comedy one.

Another interesting fact about the upcoming film is that Pakistani actor Shamoon Abbasi has been roped in to play the role of Abhinandan Varthaman, the IAF pilot who was captured and then set free by the PM Imran Khan as a good will gesture, when an Indian plane crashed in Pakistan following escalating tensions in the aftermath of Pulwama attack in February.

Shamoon Abbasi confirmed the role to Oye Yeah stating that what is to come will be a surprise for his fans and the Pakistani audience.

Written, directed by Khalil ur Rehman Qamar, Abhinandan Come On, will go on the floors in September. The film will be released on 27 February, 2020 which is the same date on which the Indian pilot of was captured.

The film will be his second directorial after Kaaf Kangana which is releasing on 25 October 2019
