Summary The 2011 Eurovision, the biggest singing competition in Europe, is heading towards its climax.
Ten musical acts qualified for the final of the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. They will now join acts from the Big Five countries Spain, Germany, Italy, France and the UK in the grand final on Saturday in the western German city of Duesseldorf.At least 19 groups took part in the first semi-final, but musicians from Serbia, Lithuania, Greece, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Switzerland, Hungary, Finland and Russia gained enough votes to progress.The decision on who is to qualify is made half by national expert juries and half from the results of televoting from the participating countries.
