Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy to return Lux Lifetime Achievement Award

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Two-time Oscar winning documentary filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy has decided to return Lifetime Achievement Award given to her during Lux Style Awards ceremony in 2012.
Chinoy said that she doesn’t care for an award and a brand that is not addressing the issues of women.
Sharmeen Obaid made it clear in a Facebook conversation with designer Mohsin Sayeed that she is not okay with things as they are.
