Summary The 3D movie Rio attracted more than expected audiences at the cinema houses in Karachi.
According to the film distributors, due to the Cricket World Cup, movie fans did not turn to the cinemas but the latest animated 3D movie “Rio has attracted more than expected audiences which ultimately set a record business. Film Distributor Nawab Hasan Siddique said that even the Indian movies were unable to record such businesses. He said that the people are also eagerly waiting for the movies by Pakistani Directors.He said that the Indian movie “Tees Mar Khan” was at number two behind “‘Rio” on the top spot. He said that the success of “Tees Mar Khan” was largely down to the song Sheela Ke Jawani.
