Mehwish Hayat disappointed with Indian govt's decision, asks to give peace a chance.
(Web Desk) – Mehwish Hayat slammed Indian PM-elect Narendra Modi for letting down the masses by not inviting PM Imran Khan on his swearing-in ceremony.
Invitations to attend this ceremony were sent out to numerous heads of state but the premier of Pakistan was deliberately left out of the list, showcasing the hardline and extremist mindset of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government.

‘This sort of news depresses me. These are the occasions when our neighbours could have reciprocated our PM Imran Khan’s peaceful overtures & extended the hand of friendship. Too much history between us I know but would have been a start. #givepeaceachance,’ she added.
