Vivek Oberoi deletes Aishwarya Rai meme, apologizes for tweet
After facing flak from all sides, Vivek deleted the tweet
(Web Desk) – Vivek Oberoi apologized for his distasteful meme regarding Aishwarya Rai, after facing severe backlash from stars and the public alike.
Vivek took a dig at Aishwerya Rai’s life, past and present by posting a meme tagged with lines and pictures of former boyfriend Salman Khan, himself and her husband and daughter.
Stars and fans were disguisted and furious at Vivek Oberoi for such a below the bell hit from the actor, who is also starred in the Modi biopic.
After facing flak from all sides, Vivek finally deleted the tweet stating
‘Sometimes what appears to be funny and harmless at first glance to one, may not be so to others. I have spent the last 10 years empowering more than 2000 underprivileged girls, I can’t even think of being disrespectful to any woman ever.’

He went on and apologized for his act that has hurt so many people, especially the offence taken by women.
