(Web Desk) – Guess what, apart from her acting skills Mehwish Hayat is good at another thing, the playground game called ‘Staapu.’
For those who are wondering what ’staapu’ is, its ‘ hopscotch,’ a game in which players throw stones on rectangles drawn on the ground with the help of a chalk. Each player then takes turn and has to jump and hop to the rectangle where the stone has landed and get back to the starting position on one leg, all in one go.
Mehwish Hayat, shared her day spent with young girls, who taught her the game of staapu.
‘In Daska during a break from loadwedding’s shoot with some new found friends. They taught me how to play Staapu and let me cheat as well lol. These girls were amazing with a real zest for life . Inspite of very difficult living conditions , each one of them had a smile on their face. Was truly inspiring !
