Lena thanked her fans for their encouragement and appreciation

(Web Desk) – The evil Cersei Lannister has finally met with her end on the final season of Game of Thrones.

But Cersei (Lena Headey) wanted fans to know that there is so much more to her than the onscreen character. After the distressing fifth episode of Game of Thrones, Lena thanked her fans for their encouragement and appreciation all through the 8 seasons. Acknowledging that Cersei s watch has ended, she shared on Instagram.

‘There she goes. It’s been fun, and bonkers . I loved her. I am grateful for the opportunity. Massively thankful for your encouraging and supportive love along the way. And now her watch is ended (I know she’d never make it, Nights watch wouldn’t have her .. but still.’

Remember Missandei, who she ordered the beheading of

Lena mentioned Nathalie Emmanuel s character Missandei with great regard and recalled the hope, positivity and strength that she brought to the series and how she did not enjoy killing her.

‘You represented hope and true strength. I didn’t like that day up there,’ she added.

Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) also paid tribute to her character and her journey.

‘It’s been one of my greatest joys playing Missandei of Naath... The quiet and kind translator. A brilliant woman who overcame so much suffering and found herself, her voice... and her one and only love. She represented so much for me, personally, that I have no choice but to carry the things she has taught me into my life going forward. Thank you to everyone who made it possible for me to play this part... this life changing part... there are too many to list,’ she added.

Leana Heady also mentioned the memories she shared with her onscreen brother and lover, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, known as Jaime Lannister.

‘When @nikolajwilliamcw and I wore jellyfish.’

Nikolaj also revisited the decade old journey, calling it the best Jamie-Cersei had on Game of Thrones.

‘The best, sweetest most wonderful sister from another mother @iamlenaheadey, That was a fun decade,’ he added.
