(Web Desk) – Meesha Shafi served a legal notice to Ali Zafar for his statements on TV, seeking an apology and Rs 2b in compensation within 15 days for damaging her repute, failure to do so, she would be forced to take legal action.

Meesha’s legal team tweeted the notice that has been sent to Ali Zafar, for his ‘false and malicious statements.’

‘A legal notice has been served to @AliZafarsays against his false, malicious and defamatory statements against our client @itsmeeshashafi on multiple National TV channels.’

Meesha’s team also gave clarification on the question raised by Ali Zafar on her Canadian immigration. The statement read that our client.

‘Applied for Canadian immigration in 2015 which was processed and approved for resident-ship and since 2016, she is a Canadian resident. Hence, your claim that the allegations against you were made by our Client to get Canadian immigration is patently false,’

As per the notice, an apology was seeked from Ali Zafar, if he doesn’t comply than legal proceedings would be initiated.
